By accessing meadvalleytreeservice.com, submitting a contact or estimate request, or engaging Mead Valley Tree Service ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") for any tree service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this website or engage our services. These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and others who access or use our website or services.
Mead Valley Tree Service provides residential and commercial tree services including, but not limited to, tree removal, tree trimming, tree pruning, stump grinding, stump removal, land clearing, emergency tree service, and commercial tree service in the Riverside County area of California. We reserve the right to decline any service request at our discretion, including requests that fall outside our service area, exceed our equipment capacity, or present safety conditions we are not equipped to handle safely.
All estimates are provided free of charge and are based on an on-site assessment of the work to be performed. Verbal estimates are not binding. A written estimate or service agreement signed by an authorized representative of Mead Valley Tree Service constitutes our commitment to the described scope of work at the stated price.
Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Changes to the scope of work requested after an estimate is accepted may result in revised pricing. If conditions discovered during the job differ materially from those assessed during the estimate (such as hidden structural damage, root depth, or utility conflicts), we will notify you before proceeding and provide a revised quote.
Appointments are confirmed by mutual agreement between you and a representative of Mead Valley Tree Service. We make every effort to arrive within the agreed timeframe, but scheduling may be affected by weather conditions, equipment issues, or delays on prior jobs. We will contact you as soon as possible if we anticipate a significant delay.
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance by phone or email. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may result in a trip fee to cover dispatch costs. Emergency service calls are subject to separate scheduling terms communicated at the time of booking.
Before work begins, you agree to:
Mead Valley Tree Service is not responsible for damage to unmarked underground utilities, irrigation systems, or other below-grade features that were not disclosed prior to work beginning.
You are responsible for obtaining any required tree removal or land-clearing permits from Riverside County or applicable community authority, as well as any approval required by your homeowners association, prior to the scheduled work date. Mead Valley Tree Service can advise on typical permit requirements in the areas we serve, but we are not responsible for fines, stop-work orders, or delays resulting from your failure to obtain required approvals.
Payment is due upon completion of the work unless a different arrangement is specified in your written service agreement. We accept payment by cash, check, and major credit or debit cards. For larger projects, we may require a deposit before work begins; this will be stated in your written estimate.
Unpaid balances are subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month (18% annually) on amounts outstanding beyond 30 days from the invoice date. In the event that collection action is required, you agree to be responsible for all reasonable collection costs, including attorney fees.
Mead Valley Tree Service stands behind the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with the results of any service, notify us within 5 business days of job completion and we will return to address the specific concern at no additional charge. This applies to workmanship issues - it does not cover damage caused by weather events, third parties, or conditions that arise after the job is complete. We do not guarantee against natural tree failure or the regrowth of vegetation after removal or trimming.
Mead Valley Tree Service carries general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage as required by California law. In the event of damage directly caused by our crew during the performance of agreed services, our liability is limited to the cost of repairing or replacing the damaged property, up to the limits of our insurance coverage.
We are not liable for: indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; loss of use; loss of income or profits; damage to unmarked underground utilities or irrigation lines; damage caused by pre-existing structural defects in trees or soil conditions; or events beyond our control including weather, acts of nature, or third-party actions. Our total liability in any matter shall not exceed the amount paid to us for the specific services at issue.
